Come learn to work, play, explore, and even nap in the trees! We teach three tree climbing classes under our sister organization: Adventure Napping LLC! Our classes are based on the curriculum developed by Tree Climbers International in Atlanta, GA and Tree Climbing Planet in Portland, OR. And now we offer these classes here in Wilmington, NC! Tree Climbing Experience

2-4 hours. Ages 8+ (with parent/guardian). $200/person (up to 4 people in the tree at a time).
Climb at our Wilmington location, or if your own tree is suitable, we can climb in your tree!
No previous experience necessary.

Basic Tree Climbing Course

2 days. Ages 12+ (with parent/guardian). $800/person (up to 2 people).
In our BTCC you will learn Double Rope Technique (DRT). This course covers all the skills needed to climb large deciduous trees on your own, such as our southern live oaks!

Basic Tree Week

5 days. Ages 14+ (with parent/guardian). $2,000/person (up to 2 people).
The first two days are the BTCC described above. Then you’ll learn advanced skills that make getting around the tree canopy easier. You’ll also learn how to set up a treeboat, which is more like a tree-cot than a hammock. Treeboats are great for relaxing, napping, or even spending the night in a treetop! On the last day, you’ll be introduced to Single Rope Technique (SRT), which is a technique used for climbing very tall vertical trees.
